SDSN is seeking a Program Associate to support the work of GBA-ASEAN Initiative, as well as the Climate and Energy (C&E) team. The Associate will report to the Program Manager of GBA-ASEAN Initiative, as well as Head of Policy and Research for Asia and SIDS. The position will serve as a key team member working at the intersection of SDSN, the GBA and ASEAN government, the Council of Engineers for the Energy Transition (CEET), and key partners across the globe. The Program Associate will also work closely with the Program Manger of CEET. This Program Associate will have the opportunity to build a professional network of mentors and contacts; be actively involved with discussions exploring some of the most pressing questions around regional collaboration, governance and peace; engage with a global network of leading engineers and energy systems experts; and directly contributing to communications that advance UN priorities around the energy transition.

SDSN is seeking a self-starter who can multi-task and has solid knowledge in accounting and bookkeeping practices in a non-profit environment. The candidate must be knowledgeable in complete accounting processes through general ledger and financial reconciliation, computerized accounting programs and other software (experience with Sage Intacct preferred). They must be able to work independently and as part of a dynamic, international team. They must have an impeccable attention for detail; strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; and must possess the ability to work positively and supportively with all members of the organization.
