The SDSN Asia Headquarters, hosted by Sunway University, is seeking a thoughtful and talented problem solver to join our dynamic team in the Kuala Lumpur office. The successful candidate will work with the Senior Fellow and researchers of SDSN to conduct research and analysis for contemporary economic issues. You will support the team in research, interpreting data and articulating your findings in a clear and insightful manner.

The Senior Fellow works within a team and leads in implementing the economic research programs under the supervision of the VP for Asia & Head of Kuala Lumpur Office. As a Senior Fellow, you will provide research-based policy advice, and mentor junior colleagues. Develop and maintain effective relationships and networks with government agencies, NGOs, academicians and external experts.

The SDGs Today website, developed on Bubble.io in 2021, requires updates to improve functionality and enhance the user experience. The incumbent would work on tasks including fixing existing glitches, streamlining the backend, enhancing website performance, adding new project pages to keep the content current, etc. Additionally, we aim to optimize mobile responsiveness, improve navigation, and automate certain processes to ensure the site operates efficiently and smoothly.

SDGs Today is involved in various projects and work streams focused on non-traditional data sources, GIS-driven case studies, and educational and training programs. We collaborate closely with various stakeholder groups including national and local governments, universities, civil society organizations, and youth to curate and develop timely dashboards, provide GIS training to National Statistical Offices, advance developments in global gridded population data products, and enhance SDG reporting through GIS analysis and data partnerships.

SDSN Networks Team is looking for a highly qualified and motivated intern to support the work of the SDSN Networks Team in Paris.
